Welcome to Nirmala High School, Machilipatnam, a prestigious institution managed by The Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (Nirmala Sisters). Nestled in a thriving town steeped in rich cultural heritage, Machilipatnam boasts historic landmarks such as the Machilipatnam Fort, the Dutch Cemetery, and the ancient Sri Dattatreya Swamy Temple. The Nirmala Sisters first arrived in this remarkable town in 1965 to contribute to the existing R.C.M Telugu Medium School. Despite facing unforeseen challenges that led to the closure of that institution, the steadfast commitment of Fr. Bruno Venturin PIME, the parish priest of Machilipatnam, and Bishop Ambrose De Battista of Vijayawada, encouraged Mother Clara Bellotti, the Superior General, and Sr. Rita Maggioni, the Delegate Superior, to establish an English Medium school. Under the visionary leadership of Sr. Daisy Athickal, the English medium school officially commenced on July 5th, 1966.

The mission and vision of Nirmala High School are centered on instilling in students the fundamental values of human dignity, universal fraternity, integrity, equality, and justice. We strive to mold our students into compassionate individuals with character, competence, conscience, and commitment, preparing them to be men and women for others.Our vibrant school community is dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Students benefit from a value-based education, with Christian faith education specifically integrated into the curriculum for Catholic children through Catechism classes, YSM, and Holy Childhood Sessions. Additionally, students are offered training in various extracurricular activities, including Yoga, Karate, NCC, Scouts and Guides, Chess, Abacus, IIT, Gymnastics, and a wide array of sports and games, both during and outside of class hours.
